FAQ
Orders & Products
Where do your products come from?
Each piece at Blue Poppy Home is thoughtfully sourced from small makers, family-run studios, and artisan brands. Many are handmade in small batches, so what you see here isn’t something you’ll find at a big box store. Occasionally, I might purchase from a larger vendor if the item(s) are unique and suit the other brand values.
Are all your items handmade or made by small businesses?
Most are! Some items come from small brands that partner with artisans or independent creators to bring their designs to life. Every product is chosen for its story, quality, and craftsmanship. Occasionally, I might purchase from a larger vendor if the item(s) are unique and suit the other brand values.
How often do you add new items to the shop?
New finds are added regularly — especially as I discover new makers or seasonal pieces that fit the collection. Follow along on Instagram or join the email list to see what’s new.
Do you restock sold-out products?
Sometimes! Because many items are handmade or produced in limited runs, restocks depend on each maker’s availability. If you love something that’s sold out, reach out — I’ll do my best to bring it back or recommend something similar. Sold out items not likely to return will be removed from the shop as soon as possible.
How can I tell if something is one-of-a-kind?
If an item is truly one-of-a-kind or limited edition, it will be noted in the product description. That’s part of what makes these pieces so special.
How can I find out more about the makers behind the products?
You’ll find “About the Maker” sections on many product pages and in the Blue Poppy Home blog, where I share stories of the artists and small businesses behind the work.

About Blue Poppy Home
What inspired you to start Blue Poppy Home?
Blue Poppy Home grew out of a love for beautiful, meaningful things — and a desire to support the people who make them. I wanted to create a space that celebrates craftsmanship, story, and joy in everyday living.
What makes Blue Poppy Home different from other stores?
Every product here is chosen with intention. I focus on small-batch goods, sustainable materials, and the stories behind the makers — because your home should feel as unique and personal as you are.
How do you choose the artisans and brands you feature?
I look for makers who share Blue Poppy’s values: creativity, integrity, and quality. Many are small family-owned studios or independent artisans who pour their heart into what they create.
Do you have a physical location or pop-up events?
Blue Poppy Home is primarily online right now, but I plan to host local pop-ups and markets in the future! Sign up for the newsletter or follow on Instagram to hear about events first.
How can I stay updated on new arrivals or maker stories?
Subscribe to the Blue Poppy newsletter or follow along on social — it’s where I share new arrivals, special features, and behind-the-scenes glimpses.
Community & Values
Do you really use eco-friendly packaging?
Yes! I use recyclable and compostable packaging materials whenever possible. There may be some packaging (like bubble wrap) that is necessary to ensure everything reaches you safely but I reuse what I have on hand whenever possible.
How does Blue Poppy Home support small makers?
By sourcing directly from artisans and small businesses, every purchase helps sustain creative livelihoods. Many of my makers rely on partnerships like this to keep doing what they love.
Are your products ethically made or sourced sustainably?
I prioritize working with suppliers who share Blue Poppy’s commitment to sustainability and fair practices. If something doesn’t meet that standard, it doesn’t make it into the shop.
Do you collaborate with local artists or host community events?
Not yet, but since community is a huge part of what I’m building, I have an eye to the future on this. From local maker spotlights to upcoming pop-up events, I want to find ways to connect creativity and community.
